On the one hand, the slopes of Radstadt-Altenmarkt (max. elev. 1700 m) have long been an insider tip for many. Aside from beautiful views of both towns and the surrounding alpine world, this ski area is also distinguished by laid-back, easy-to-navigate, exceptionally family- and beginner-friendly hills: totaling 8 km of beginner and 12 km of intermediate runs. Rustic huts constantly beckon you to step inside for a break and refreshments.

On the other hand, the World Cup venue of Zauchensee - true to its motto "From your 4* hotel straight to the slopes" - also invites you to set out into the highest ski area (Zauchensee/Flachauwinkl/Kleinarl) in the entire Salzburger Sportwelt region. Thanks to elevations as much as 2,188 m above sea level and state-of-the-art snowmaking equipment, you get to ski in a marvelous setting until well into springtime. From easy hills to exhilarating runs, from broad carving slopes to steep moguls hills, variation and boundless sporting choices are what it's all about. Ambitious skiers make their dreams of speed and powder come true on official FIS hills. The entire ski area encompasses 21 km of easy, 45 km of intermediate and 22 km of expert runs.

From here with us, you are within easy reach of a total of five ski regions with 270 lifts, 860 kilometers of slopes - and all on one single ski pass. The Altenmarkt-Zauchensee ski area is the highest of the Salzburger Sportwelt region. It spans elevations from 842 to 2,188 meters, and promises great snow conditions from December until the end of April.
